HEMOGLOBIN Powder    -     The highly digestable protein source

Hemoglobin powder is the usual trade name for the dried cell fraction originating from the blood of slaughtered livestock. The cell fraction from whole blood of slaughtered animals is separated by centrfugation and then carefully dried in a special spray tower.
Hemoglobin powder is very rich in protein (90% min.) and contains a low percentage of crude ash (6%). At once, the pepsin digestibility of the protein tested in-vitro is 99% and the solubility of emoglobin powder is 88%. Therefore, hemoglobin powder is characterized both by a high protein quality and a high protein concentration.
